Additional Campground Rules & Information
• No more than one vehicle and one tent per rented site. Basic fee includes spouses and their unmarried children (maximum of four persons).
• An empty site indicates a vacancy. We make every effort to carefully record occupied sites but we ask that you please assist us by leaving items that indicated that your site is occupied and therefore not available for rent.
• Boat or utility trailers are NOT permitted in the campground. Unfortunately, we do not have the space to accommodate them. We do, however, have limited space off-site that trailers can be stored. This space is not monitored by the campground, therefore storage is at your own risk.
• Restrooms are cleaned each day at 11:30 a.m.
• Pool is open 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily. Children 12 and under are not permitted in the pool without adult supervision. The pool is monitored during all open hours for the safety and enjoyment of everyone.
• Please, no swimming in the Quarry
• Pets are permitted but must be kept quiet and on a leash at all times. Do not leave pets unattended. You are responsible for them at all times including cleaning up after them.
• Quiet hours will be observed between 10:00 p.m. and 8:00 a.m. No loud parties will be tolerated at any time. Radios and televisions are to be kept at a reasonable level.
• Any annoyances to campers or unsafe conditions should be reported to the office immediately.
• Campfires must be extinguished prior to being left unattended. Please do not move fire rings.
• Please observe the 5 mph speed limit on camp roads.
• Please dispose of all trash in dumpsters or trash cans provided for your convenience. Please leave your sites as you found them . . . CLEAN.
• Our local wildlife is very friendly. Campers are urged to store securely their food and anything else a large raccoon could carry off!
• Please respect the privacy of other campers and do not walk through any occupied sites.
• Cutting of trees is prohibited. Firewood is available for purchase at the office.
• Washing dishes or clothing is not permitted in the restrooms or showers.
• There will be no refunds and management reserves the right to ask campers to vacate their site.
• Management is not responsible for any lost or stolen items.
• Please note that local police personnel patrol the campground on a regular basis. All campers are asked to abide by all Maine State laws.
• NOTE: Tents only are permitted in sites 37, 38, 39, and 39B, on the waterfront. Sites 36 and 37B only permit very small pop ups with a box of less than 10 feet; we make no exceptions. In the event that your unit is larger than what is permitted upon arrival, we will try to relocate you to a different site if any are available. Your cost will remain the same as you previously paid for the waterfront site. If an adequate site is not available, we will not refund your money. This is necessary to honor the views the other waterfront campers have paid for.
